Food & Friends

Food and Friends

Food and Friends is a Washington D.C. based non-profit organization that provides home-delivered, specialized meals and nutrition counseling to people living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life challenging illnesses.  Mike has been involved with Food & Friends for more than 20 years, and currently serves as a Board Member and volunteer.  Since 1988, Food and Friends has delivered more than 20 million meals to more than 23,000 individuals

Bpeace’s 350+ business volunteers envision a world where job creators who believe in women’s economic empowerment can accelerate historically violent communities up the path to peace and prosperity. We believe jobs provide dignity and economic stability. More jobs mean less violence®

The Bpeace model unites high-quality business consulting by volunteers (“Skillanthropists") with proven and promising local job creators ("Fast Runners") to help them break through the barriers to growth and job creation.  Mike is proud to serve as a Skillanthropist.
